Goals for 2010.
  1. Spend less. Self explanatory.
  2. Explore culinarily. Not sure if "culinarily" is a word, but I want to explore new types of food.
  3. Practice moderation. I'm usually all or nothing, so I'd like to practice some moderation, especially where diet is concerned.
  4. Make a plan. For our vacation home, that is.
  5. Say no. A "stuckee" assumes a duty when no one else wanted to do it. I don't want to be a stuckee anymore.

Favorite Christmas memories.
  1. Red typewriter. My brother dismantled it the very next day, but for a good 12 hours I typed my heart out rewriting Hansel and Gretel.
  2. Trampoline. Jumping up and down in full-on winter gear with a box of Kleenex was thrilling.
  3. Granddad. He always fell asleep after eating Christmas lunch. His belly was a great pillow for your own little snooze.
  4. Potatoes. Bowls of mashed potatoes for dessert. Mmmm....
  5. Conan the Barbarian. Not sure why we watched it one Christmas, but quickly our candy canes became swords.


Jobs I've held.
  1. Janitor at JCPenney.
  2. Accounting and finance grader at TSU.
  3. Software lackey, I mean engineer.
  4. Science teacher.
  5. Mom - which despite the nonexistent salary has been the best one.

  1. Mateo. That one was obvious.

  5. Organizing something.
