Unwanted visitor.

We have an unwanted visitor in this house - RSV.  Both babies have it.  Lucas began with a snotty nose, and Nico developed a sad sounding cough afterward.  Ever since we came home from the hospital there has been someone in this house that was sick, whether it be Mateo, Rafi, me, or even visiting family.  So I suppose it was inevitable for them to get sick, as well.

Teeny babies are so sad looking when they're sick, and it's scary being the parent of a teeny sick baby, much less two of them.  RSV can be very dangerous, even rarely deadly, for babies of low weight, so we and the doctor are being very vigilant.  The boys have their noses suctioned frequently during the day, and we feed them in small amounts frequently.  They are unable to lay flat, so they sleep in these awesome Rock 'N Plays that my brother and sister-in-law bought for them.  They are too young to take medicine, so at least once or twice a day I take them in the bathroom for a steam (which gets very sweaty, I may add).  So far they are still eating well, so that makes me feel better.

I'm ready for our unwelcome visitor to leave and for our two babies to feel better!
